Dr. Tracy Crnic, M.D. - My practice is dedicated to children’s eye care, and the needs of adults with crossed eyes. I am a medical doctor, an ophthalmologist, who specializes in surgical and non-surgical treatment of the eyes, and have a sub-specialty degree in pediatric medical eye care. I started my practice in Amarillo in September 2003, after completing my pediatric fellowship at Children’s Hospital in Dallas. My patients are very special to me, and I work hard to make sure that you are treated with the best possible care that is available.
My hobbies include: spending time with my dogs, Meg and Pixel (who work in my practice with patients). Meg is a certified therapy dog, and she and I go to nursing homes to visit the elderly. I also enjoy working with several charities in Amarillo.

Tiffany Mitchell - I am Dr. Crnic’s office manager, and a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant. I have been working with Dr. Crnic for four years, since the start of her practice in Amarillo. My primary responsibilities now are to manage the day-to-day operations of the clinic. I handle our many insurance claims, and work to reconcile outstanding patient accounts. I also help as an ophthalmic assistant, and surgical scrub when needed.
My hobbies include: activities with my family: especially my husband, two boys, and dog. I love saltwater fish and marine life, and enjoy maintaining my seventy-two gallon aquarium, and its residents.

I assist Dr. Crnic with surgical procedures in the operating room; I also manage all of the paperwork required for surgery, and work with Amarillo Surgical Center to schedule operations for our patients.
My hobbies include: spending time with my wife and family; working on our new home; volunteering at my church; and anything to do with cars!

My responsibilities often make me feel married to the telephone, but I am also the wife of Jason Rogers, Dr. Crnic’s nurse. Before working with Panhandle Eye Group, I worked for an accounting firm in Canyon; here, I enjoy working with Dr. Crnic and staff, and being the first contact for our patients.

David Paul - I am a therapy dog trainer & patient care specialist. I bring Dr. Crnic’s chihuahuas, Meg and Pixel, or my Sealyham terrier, Alafair, to visit with our patients in the waiting room; the dogs perform their tricks for treat rewards, and make themselves available for petting. I often talk with parents about behavior problems with the family pet. I have been a home builder for thirty-two years, and concurrently, have been training and working with dogs the last seven years.
My hobbies include: competing in AKC agility and obedience trials with my Sealyhams, Alafair and Boudin; being a member-teacher with Park Central Caring Canines; visiting residents in skilled-care nursing homes with Alafair and Meg;; lecturing to civic clubs and service organizations about animal-assisted therapy; private training of family dogs.

I help Jason by pre-certifying surgical procedures with insurance underwriters, and also answer a lot of our phone calls. I love working with kids, and still have time to make people laugh.
My hobbies include: tennis and volleyball; making a new life together with my fiancée; enjoying time with my family; and because life is too short, living everyday to its fullest!!
